General Terms and Conditions (GTC) for all services of Coaching-Angela.com

§1 Scope of application

The following terms and conditions apply to all contractual relationships between Coaching-Angela.com, represented by Angela Hasler, based in 4104 Oberwil, Switzerland, and its clients (hereinafter referred to as clients). These terms and conditions become effective when the client places an order (booking an appointment for coaching & therapy or booking a workshop or retreat offered by Coaching-Angela.com) and are valid for the entire duration of the business relationship. Changes to these conditions must be made in writing.

§2 Basis of cooperation

The services of Coaching-Angela.com are based on a well-founded dialog and mutual trust between the contracting parties. Since the success of the services (coaching & therapy or workshops or retreats) depends on the active participation of the client, a specific result cannot be guaranteed. Coaching-Angela.com acts as a consultant, companion and workshop or retreat provider; the implementation and realization of the recommended measures is the sole responsibility of the client.

§3 Agreement on the scope of services

When making an appointment for coaching & therapy or booking a workshop or retreat, the price and payment conditions are agreed. An individual offer is made for all services, which requires confirmation by the client. This confirmation will be collected from the client by email before the service is provided. In the case of coaching & therapy, invoices are issued after the service has been provided; in the case of workshops and retreats, invoices are issued before the service has been provided with a fixed payment deadline.

§4 Travel costs and expenses

If additional costs are incurred in connection with the provision of our services, these will be invoiced at the agreed rate after prior consultation with the client.

§5 Cancellation conditions

Cancellation by the client / customer:

Coaching & therapy appointments: Cancellation of coaching & therapy appointments is generally free of charge. Failure to make use of an already agreed Coaching & Therapy appointment without prior cancellation will be charged at a flat rate of CHF 80.

Workshops or retreats: Cancellation of booked workshops or retreats can be made up to ten days before the start of the workshop or retreat with a full refund minus a processing fee of CHF 20. If the cancellation is made nine to one day before the start of a workshop or retreat, the client will be refunded 80% of the fee. In the event of non-attendance at a workshop or retreat without prior cancellation, the client is not entitled to a refund.

Cancellation by service provider Coaching-Angela.com, Angela Hasler:

Coaching & therapy appointments: If the booked appointment confirmed by the service provider is canceled by the service provider, at any time prior to the start of the booked appointment, the client will not receive any financial or non-financial compensation (payment for coaching & therapy appointments by the client is made after the appointment has taken place, so the client has not yet made any payment and the service provider does not pay any compensation due to cancellation by the service provider of the agreed appointment).

Workshops & retreats: If a workshop or retreat is canceled by the service provider, regardless of the time before the start of the booked workshop or retreat, the client will receive a full refund of the amount already paid within 20 days of cancellation.

§6 Confidentiality agreement

Coaching-Angela.com and Angela Hasler undertake to treat information confidentially. In particular, the service provider undertakes to protect the personal integrity of its clients vis-à-vis third parties.

§7 Data protection for online video meetings and webinars via Zoom

For coaching & therapy appointments and webinars via the online video meeting platform Zoom Video Communications, Inc., the data protection conditions of Zoom Video Communications, Inc. apply in addition to the General Terms and Conditions of Coaching-Angela.com. To the best of Angela Hasler's knowledge, Zoom Video Communications, Inc. guarantees the highest level of data protection for its users in direct comparison with other online video meeting / webinar platforms.

§8 Disclaimer

The service of Coaching-Angela.com is a consulting activity, the success of which cannot be guaranteed. Any liability for results not achieved is hereby excluded. Coaching-Angela.com and Angela Hasler do not promise a cure or healing.

§9 Insurance

The responsibility for insurance cover for coaching & therapy appointments, workshops or retreats lies with the client. The clients are not insured by Coaching-Angela.com.

§10 Place of jurisdiction

Swiss law applies to all legal disputes between Coaching-Angela.com, Angela Hasler and the client, and the place of jurisdiction is the Basel-Landschaft West Civil District Court, Domplatz 5/7, 4144 Arlesheim, Switzerland, Tel. 061 552 80 00. This also applies if the client is not resident in Switzerland.

§11 Severability clause

Should individual provisions of these GTC be or become invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a provision that comes closest to the meaning and purpose of the original provision.
